Drawbridge Gamers have been patiently awaiting some return to in store gaming. First and foremost, thank you for your patience and your continued support of our awesome game store! Throughout these trying times you have continued to utilize us as your go-to for gaming product goodness, and for that I can only say again, THANK YOU!
Alright, let’s get right to the heart of this thing,
We would like to begin the process of allowing our members to utilize our gaming space again, and so starting tomorrow (October 1st, 2020) we will be allowing limited in-store gaming in our gaming annex. I’m happy to do this, but it is important that we are smart about it, and take as many precautions as reasonably possible. These will include the following:
- Play space will be accessible to members only until such time as we can facilitate general admission events. Masks have made identifying members more difficult. Please present your membership card when entering.
- The space will be limited to 6 members at a time. Please call ahead to schedule time.
- All members must wear a face mask while in the gaming annex.
- All members are subject to a contactless temperature check before entering the gaming annex.
- Gaming tables will be sanitized after use.
- We ask that any members who have any symptoms of illness not participate.
- Members play at their own risk.
- Our members range the gambit in both age and vulnerability. Therefore, these rules may be temporary but are also non-negotiable.
Membership renewals have been on hiatus, but will now move forward as normal. Please check to see if your card has expired and renew if needed! Store hours will remain 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM except on Thursdays. Thursdays have historically been our most popular gaming night and we will be returning to 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM hours. My hope is that we can move forward with in-store play in a way that provides value to our members, but is also responsible to our community.
