Greetings Drawbridge Gamers!
We are fast approaching our Extra Life 24-Hour Game Day! Last year we raised over $631 in one day to support our team Steel City Score Attack and through them, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation.
We have a ton of events scheduled, and I’ll include more details on the events calendar page on this site and our Facebook page. Here is what we’re asking for:
- $3.00 Per Hour – We ask that all players donate $3.00 per hour of gaming they spend during the event. Anyone regardless of membership is welcome to come and game. Events are mostly of a first-come-first-served nature, but most of the events planned can facilitate a large number of players.
- $1.00 Re-rolls – Any die for any game can be re-rolled for a crisp dollar bill donation. This includes other randomizers (card flips, etc.).
- Please Make In Person Donations in Cash – It is not possible at this time to differentiate between a purchase and a donation with the Drawbridge Games register system. Donations for our event are collected in cash, processed, and then a donation one donation is made through the store’s Extra Life account. All proceeds raised through donations go directly to Extra-Life!
- Closed on Sunday After 7:00 AM – Drawbridge Games will be open for business for the entire 24-Hour charity event. Because we are a small shop with limited staff we will then be closed for the rest of Sunday. We still rely on purchases made during this period so feel free to shop!
- Direct Donations – If you cannot make our event, but still want to support us our you’d like to use a card to make donations, you can donate directly the store’s Extra Life page (link below).
